Thomas is the Managing Director for Core Finance, having re-joined the Bank in 2020, initially as the Financial Control and Governance Director.
Thomas has responsibility for the Core Finance areas of Finance Operations, Financial Control and Governance and Covid Support ensuring that Core Finance supports and enables the Bank in the delivery of its strategy and objectives.
A chartered accountant, Thomas started his career with Grant Thornton, which included qualifying and, following promotion to Audit Manager, led audits of organisations across a number of sectors. As well as previously working for the Bank Thomas has spent time working for a premium listed real estate group leading their financial reporting team.
