Makar Technologies is an electronic design manufacturing and service support company based in Forres near Inverness.
Established in 2015, Makar Technologies specialises in intelligent robotics and electronic motor control systems for the aerospace, mobility, industrial and consumer market sectors.
In September 2017, while still relatively new, the business needed additional financial support to expand and secured £50,000 through British Business Bank Enterprise Finance Guarantee partner DSL Business Finance.
The new finance enabled the company to grow rapidly, doubling its number of staff by winning a number of multinational original equipment manufacturer contracts to support its growing client base.
