Cornwall & Isles of Scilly Investment Fund (CIOSIF)

The British Business Bank is pleased to announce that it is establishing the Cornwall & Isles of Scilly Investment Fund (CIOSIF) in partnership with the Cornwall & Isles of Scilly LEP. The £40m investment Fund will support access to finance where barriers exist for SMEs and seek to address an equity gap in start-up, early stage and development capital.

The Cornwall & Isles of Scilly Investment Fund of approximately £40m is brought together by a combination of ERDF, LEP and HMG grant funding, creating a fund which will provide debt and equity for the region.

The Bank also intends to appoint a member of staff who will support the Cornwall & Isles of Scilly Investment Fund as well as strengthening the links between local businesses and the Bank’s national access to finance programmes and products including information on finance options available to them.
