Salary: £28,000 - £32,000

We are looking to recruit two Reporting Analysts to join our Business Intelligence team in our Sheffield office. One Reporting Analyst will support information requirements of the senior management of British Business investments and also the creation and operation of British Patient Capital plc and the other will support the information requirements of the NPIF, MEIF and CIoS programmes within Regional Solutions.

As a Reporting Analyst you will assist with the handling, monitoring and reporting of management information in relation to the British Business Bank funding programmes under management. You will be responsible for the handling and appraisal of reporting information received from fund managers/delivery partners and the accurate transfer of reporting information into management information systems and tools. You will be involved in the preparation of analysis, ad hoc reporting information and written reports to Senior Management Team/Board, internal colleagues and stakeholders and will also act as key liaison contact with external fund manager/delivery partner contacts with regards to reporting information. Ideally, you will have excellent data handling and numeracy skills, sound analytical skills, problem solving, interpretation and judgement. In addition you will need to have the ability to develop into a subject matter expert and apply such knowledge to the role.


The British Business Bank is a unique and exciting new institution. Our objective is to make finance markets work better for UK small businesses. It was established in 2014 as a development bank for the UK managed independently from Government and under the governance of its own board of directors, with the aim of improving access to finance for small and medium sized businesses. We have around £4bn of capital resources and operate as a wholesale institution in a wide range of financial services markets ranging from bank lending to venture capital. Currently, we employ around 250, split between our two offices in London and our Sheffield office.
