British Business Bank – Seminar for prospective Enterprise Capital Fund managers, 28 April 2017
The British Business Bank’s Enterprise Capital Fund programme exists to promote the development of commercially focused venture capital funds which will address the ‘equity gap’ in funding for high growth SMEs.
We are holding an information event for fund managers and other interested parties to meet our team and find out more about the programme. The event will be held in London, from 11am – 1pm on Friday 28 April.
Our Venture Capital solutions team is already backing 24 Enterprise Capital Funds with over £930m of committed funding and this will be an opportunity to find out how we select and work with the teams we invest in. You will also be able to hear from existing managers who can give a candid view of the process.
ECFs are managed by experienced fund managers from a variety of backgrounds – including teams from the venture capital industry as well as serial entrepreneurs with a history of success in building early stage UK companies. This is a rolling investment programme from which we anticipate making between two and five new investments per year so we are actively looking for management teams to run ECFs.
